LCC Pizza fire culprit apologises for mass evacuation:

London College of Communication Student, Matsz has taken the blame and apologised for his involvement in the serious yet rather amusing fire evacuation of the LCC university campus last week.

On Wednesday, the London College of Communication was evacuated following a worrying oven fire in the cafes prized pizzeria that was quickly distinguished by staff nearby, disrupting students, visitors and lecturers alike. The evacuation was carried out smoothly and no one was harmed, but many were left disgruntled and confused as their day at university turned into something worrying.

Shortly after the evacuation it came to light that  Matsz, a year 3 student studying photography, placed an order for a vegan pizza which quickly turned into a dangerous situation when a fire in the oven started. Details are not yet available on what caused an inferno to engulf Matsz’s sustainable lunch, but it has been confirmed that this oven fire was the only cause behind the abrupt evacuation. The Gen Z humour, typical of students at LCC was quick to see the comical side of this near disaster, creating memes surrounding and relating to the ordeal that unfolded last Wednesday which were promptly posted around social media, sparking wide recognition about the funny evacuation amongst gen z Londoners.

Whilst it is amusing to create memes around the situation, it is still a doleful moment for the LCC community as information surrounding when the beloved pizzeria will reopen remains unknown.

When asked how he felt about causing these complications at LCC Matsz said, “I feel kind of bad because I know it was my order that started all this”  he went on to say, “I apologise to everyone who got evacuated and can’t grab a pizza but it’s cool because mine got burnt anyway”
